Every product goes through the same rigorous evaluation. We analyze manufacturer specifications, cross-reference independent test data, study verified user reviews across multiple platforms, and calculate total cost of ownership including subscriptions.

Pet technology changes fast. Products get discontinued, prices shift, and new devices launch monthly. We update our rankings regularly — checking product availability, verifying current pricing, and incorporating new devices as they prove themselves in the market.
When a product becomes unavailable (like the Whistle GPS shutdown in 2025), we remove it promptly and re-rank the category rather than leaving outdated recommendations.
